Rabbi Joseph H. Krakoff is nationally known for his work in grief counseling, palliative care, and hospice care. His pastoral work with families includes 16 years as a congregational rabbi. Krakoff developed the initial text of Never Long Enough while studying at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City and further developed it while creating the book. Currently, he is the Senior Director for The Jewish Hospice & Chaplaincy Network in West Bloomfield, MI.
Dr. Michelle Y. Sider is an artist and teacher whose work reflects her extensive studies in the fine arts as well as her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit. While working as a psychologist with families and children, she often used art therapy with her clients. As an artist, Dr. Sider has worked as an illustrator, designer, glass mosaic artist, painter, and educator. As readers will discover in Never Long Enough, she works in many media from charcoal to paint.
In conjunction with the release of Never Long Enough, Rabbi Krakoff and Dr. Sider founded Skywardjems, LLC.
